Product Information

Our sixth exclusive Wagon Yard release and our first van. 100 pristine limited edtion wagons made for us by Peco. Henry John Gasson was a china, earthenware and marine stores dealer in Rye in the late 1800's. As his business reached the turn of the century he was listed as a manufacturuer and supplier of tents, tarpaulins and shop blinds hence the wagon livery modelled here. This particular van was built by Thomas Burnett in 1905 and registered by the Great Central Railway, in later life it would come under the ownership of Salt Union Ltd and the running no. would be changed to 779. An amazing livery with so much detail and intricate artwork it really makes for a very special model.
