Charles Roberts – tank OO
Special edition tank wagon produced by Bachmann for their Collectors Club in 2005/6. Charles Roberts & Co Ltd an extremely famous name in wagon building was formed in 1856. Initially based at Wakefield, West Yorkshire it moved to moved to Horbury Junction, West Yorkshire in 1873. Much of the evidence we have today in the design and construction of tank wagons comes from Charles Roberts. Production continued well into the 1960’s. This wagon was used as advertisement for the company and would of been built in the early 1900’s. ERA: 2, 3 and 4. Wagon is in superb, like new condition with all couplings and buffers intact. Box has some wear and a dent on bottom left hand corner but generally the condition is good.
