7 plank limited edition wagon made by Dapol for the Bristol East MRC in 2005 as a limited edition run of 195 wagons. Crane & Company was a firworks manufacturer based in Bristol. The company was formed in 1887 by Isaac Crane. Isaac was the brother of Alexander Crane a familiar name to wagon enthusiasts. Alexander was a coal merchant based in Gloucester and the wagon modelled here was believed to of been owned and operated by Alexander in his coal business whilst cleverly providing advertising for Isaccs fireworks company. The wagon was built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Co in October 1904. ERA’s: 2 and 3. Wagon is in superb like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in good condition
