Dunkerton Colliery – 6 plank N



Limited edition 6 plank wagon in the livery of Dunkerton Colliery commissioned by Buffers in 2005. 500 pristine wagons were made by Graham Farish (373-175X). The wagon is listed as a 7 plank on the box but it was made using the 6 plank model inherited from the original Graham Farish factory. Dunkerton Colliery commenced operations in1907 but by 1921 coal supplies were running low, to diversify the company formed Dunkerton Coal Factors and became sales agents for other collieries including Lightmoor and Cannop. Dunkerton Colliery itself closed in 1925. ERA: 2 and 3. Wagon is in excellent like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact, box also in excellent condition.
