F & E. Poole & Co – 7 plank N gauge

Limited edition wagon produced for the Swansea Railway Modellers Group by Dapol. Limited edition certificate no 16 of 107. F & E Poole and Co were ship brokers and coal merchants based in Swansea. This particular wagon was part of a group of 10 made by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company in 1908. The company traded with the Rhiwlas Colliery in Bury Port and Aberpergwm Colliery in the Vale of Neath. In the same year this wagon was acquired the company went into receivership and was declared bankrupt. ERA: 2. Wagon is in superb like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in excellent condition.
