Limited edition 7 plank private owner wagon in the livery of Frederick Biss commissioned by Bristol East Model Rail Club and produced by Dapol in 2006. Limited edition certificate included, this being no. 26 of 200. Frederick Biss was based in Bristol in the early 1900’s and his occupations were listed as dairy farmer and coal merchant. The company went into liquidation in 1914, prior to this he had depots at Patchway, Pilning, Winterbourne and Iron Acton Railway Stations dating back to 1906. Biss purchased two wagons from the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company in 1901 at which time wagon no.3 as modelled here was photographed. ERA: 2. Excellent, like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in good condition, faded sleeve with some wear.
