Highland Bitumens (C) – tank N gauge

Special edition tank wagon made by Peco for Harburn Hobbies (2024). Two running numbers have been produced no. 2 and no. 4, this being no. 4 (NR-P176C). Highland Bitumen was refined by Shell at Ardrossan in North Aryshire. The bitumen was then sent by rail towards Inverness sidings at Culloden Moor and Tomatin. The refinery which was originally used to produce aviation gasoline during WW1 closed in 1988. ERA’s: 5 & 6
