K. G. & N. A. Gay Coal Merchants – 7 plank OO

Limited edition 7 plank wagon commissioned by Wessex Wagons and made by Dapol in 2009. Limited edition certificate included no. 96 of 158 pristine wagons made. This wagon was based at the East Somerset Railway having been painted in the 1970’s. George and Nora Gay were local coal merchants who were known to of supplied British artist David Shepherd. Wagon is in excellent condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box is in fair condition but with dents to one end (see photo) and other light wear.
