Kingston Brewery – 12t Single Ventilated Van OO



Limited edition 12t single ventilated van commissioned by Simply Southern and made by Dapol in 2021. Limited run of 52 pristine wagons. The Kingston Brewery of Kingston-Upon-Thames in Surrey was founded in 1610 by the Rowlls family. In 1854 it was bought by the Hodgson Brothers. The brothers were establised brewers who were originally based in London, as well as brewing their own beer they would also bottle for other companies including Guiness. THe brewery had numerous pubs in the area and bought up a number of other breweries over the years. Eventually they were bought out by Courage and Co finally ceasing trading in 1965. The van modelled here shows the breweries logo and is a representation of wehat the companies railways vans could of been like. ERA’s: 1 and 2
