Limited edition tank wagon produced by Bachmann for BRM in 2002. Limited of 750 wagons. Lee & Green Ltd was established in Sleaford, Lincolnshire in 1881 by George Raynard Lee and Arthur Green. The company bottled aerated waters and made ginger beer and would expand its business to include five sites in Lincolnshire (including Bourne) plus production in the United States. The striking tank wagons operated on the Bourne and Sleaford Railway which was run by the Great Northern Railway from 1872. The line would close to passengers in 1930 and goods traffic in 1964. The Lee and Green brand persisted up to the mid 1930’s when the company was sold and the Bourne factory was closed. ERA: 2 and 3. Wagon is in excellent like new condition, with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in good condition with some wear.
