Limited edition 7 plank wagon produced by Dapol for Ballards in 2008. The Medway Navigation Company was established in 1747 and operated the Medway Canal between Allington Lock and Tonbridge. In 1845 the company formed the Medway Coal Co, it would become one of the oldest coal merchants in Kent. Based at 1 High Street in Tunbridge Wells Medway Coal had depots in Tonbridge, Hastings, East Peckham and in 1920 (after taking over Quinnells) Sevenoaks. Photographs exist of the companies wagons in a High Brooms goods yard and the Peter Matthews Collection includes a sketch of wagon no. 17 as modelled here.  ERA: 2. Wagon is in excellent condition with all couplings and buffers intact. Box is in very good condition with minor wear to the sleeves corners.
