Osman Trevor Powell – 7 plank OO
Limited edition 7 plank wagon commissioned by Antics in 2005 in a limited run of 250 pristine wagons. Certificate included. Trevor Powell was trading as a coal factor by 1871. He had close links with the Foxes Bridge Colliery which was owned by his father in law Osman Barrett (hence the inclusion of Osman on the side of the wagon). The business operated until Powell’s death in 1914. The company had a fair size fleet of wagons with numerous wagons orders made to the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Comapny between 1872 and 1913. Some wagons were purchased, others hired but the majority had repair contracts with Gloucester. The wagon modelled here was purchased on deferred payment terms in 1905 and was registered with the GWR. ERA’s: 2 and 3. Wagon is in superb like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in excellent condition.
