PO Triple Set Cambrian, Dutton Massey & Wemyss – 7 plank N gauge

Limited edition triple set of private owner wagons made by Graham Farish for the Bachmann Collectors Club in 20011/ 2012. Limited edition certificate included no. 394 of 504. The set includes Cambrian Mercantile collieries, Dutton Massey & Co and Wemyss. Cambrian Mercantile was part of a syndicate of collieries. The company would go through various incarnations throughout its history. The wagon modelled here was part of an order of 100 wagons from Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Company in 1905. ERA: 2 and 3. Dutton Massey commenced trading in the mid 1870’s selling a diverse range of products including agricultural machinery and starch. In 1895 they were listed as coal merchants and were operating wagons with an order of 25 new wagons in 1899 from Ashbury. The company traded for many successful years by diversifying its product range, eventually closing as fuel distributors in 1967. ERA: 2, 3, 4 and 5. The Wemyss Coal company operated five collieries at Methil, Buckhaven and Wemyss Castle in Scotland. ERA: 2 and 3. All three wagons are in superb, like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in very good condition.
