Queen Mary EWS – Brake Van N



Special edition Queen Mary brake van in EWS livery which was commissioned by the N Gauge Society and made by Graham Farish in 2011. (377-876X). EWS – English, Welsh and Scottish Railway (now known as D.B. Schenker) founded in 1995 retained some of the Queen Mary brake vans for propelling moves on branch lines and other moving operations. The brake vans were in use from the west of England, right up into Scotland until 2007 when the company was sold to Deutsche Bahn. This model has airbrakes and the lettering differs slightly on each side as it did in real life. ERA: 8 and 9. The brake van is in superb, like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Box in good condition with some light wear to the ends and corners and a small dent on the top edge.
