Limited edition 7 plank private owner wagon commissioned by Warley MRC for their 2018 exhibition and made by Peco. (nr-p925) George Thomas Rapps was a coal merchant based at the L&NWR depot of Soho Pool in Birmingham from 1908. Unfortunately Rapps was one of the many coal merchants who didn’t survive the coal miners strike of 1926, the business was round up due to financial difficulties in 1927. Rapps placed an order for six new and one second hand wagon from the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company in 1908. ERA’s: 2 and 3. Wagon is in excellent like new condition with all buffers and couplings intact. In original box which is in very good condition.
