S. Woodcock Coal Merchant – 5 plank OO
Limited edition 5 plank private owner wagon commissioned by West Wales Wagon Works and made by Dapol in 2009. Limited edition sticker present, this is wagon no. 53 of 85 pristine wagons produced. S. Woodcock was a coal merchant based in Market Drayton in Shropshire. He bought coal from the North Staffordshire coal fields known as the Potteries and occasionally from Cannock. Woodcock is known to of ordered a fleet of 5 new wagons all of which had odd running numbers, he was amongst a number of small wagon owners who had their wagons taken at the start of the second World War, non were returned. ERA: 3. Wagon is in great condition with all buffers and couplings intact. Original box which is in very good condition.
