Starkey, Knight & Ford Brewery Wagon – OO gauge

Exclusive to The Wagon Yard – 8t Goods Van in the livery of Starkey, Knight & Ford (Northgate Brewery).  George Knight founded the brewery in 1842 in Bridgwater, Somerset. In 1882 the a merger with Thomas Starkey saw the company registered as Starkey, Knight & Co. In 1895 the aquisition of Thomas Ford & Son and 40 tied houses saw the company finally become Starkey, Knight & Ford. The company successfully brewed a range of popular ales and stouts for a number of decades before being accquired by Whitbread in the early 1960’s. Designed and printed in the UK using Rapido Trains UK’s superbly detailed vans. Features: expertly applied livery (designed and applied in the UK), wheels running in V-hangers, metal bearings, NEM coupler pockets and a high level of detail.  OO Gauge.
